Cribs

-- About 1,200 2nd Nature Built to Grow cribs, made in Slovenia by Stanley Furniture Co. Inc., because the space between the mattress and the crib could be too wide when the mattress support is in the middle setting, posing an entrapment hazard. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The crib, model No. 353-14-220, is natural maple in color. They were sold at department and furniture stores from March 2006 through December 2007. -- About 320,000 Jardine cribs, made in China and Vietnam by Jardine Enterprises and sold by Toys "R" Us Inc. units KidsWorld, Geoffrey stores, Toys "R" Us and Babies "R" Us, because the wooden slats and spindles on the crib frames can break, allowing children to get trapped in the gap. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has received 42 reports of broken slats and spindles, including four instances of children getting trapped; two of them suffered cuts and bruises. The cribs were sold around the country between January 2002 through May 2008. Details: by phone at 800-646-4106.

Helicopters

-- About 102,000 "Thunder Wolf" remote-controlled indoor helicopters, made in China and imported and distributed by Westminster Inc., because the rechargeable battery inside can overheat and cause the helicopter to melt, posing a risk of fires and burns. The company has received seven reports of overheating or melting, including one report of flames coming from the helicopter and two reports of property damage. Glue guns

-- About 470,000 Crafters Square Hot Melt mini glue guns, made in China and imported by Greenbrier International Inc., because they can short circuit, posing a fire hazard. Dollar Tree Inc. has received four reports of the glue guns short-circuiting; no injuries have been reported. The glue guns, product number 939701, were sold at Dollar Tree, Dollar Bill$, Dollar Express, Greenbacks, Only One $1 and Deal$ stores nationwide from December 2007 through March 2008. Pump motors

-- About 6,750 water pump motors, made in Mexico by A.O. Smith Electrical Products Co., because they have a three-fourths horsepower motor instead of a one horsepower motor as labeled. The smaller motor could overheat, posing a fire hazard. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The motors were included with lawn sprinkler pumps and jet pumps made by F.E. Myers Co. The recall also includes replacement pump motors that were sold separately. The pumps were sold by plumbing wholesalers and distributors nationwide to independent contractors and plumbers between August 2007 and May 2008.
