Passport Fairs set at 3 post offices

The Summerville Post Office will be one of three in the Lowcountry to hold Passport Fairs on Saturday.

In addition to its regular weekday hours, the Post Office at 301 North Gum St. will handle passport applications from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Saturday hours are especially helpful for families, as children under 16 must have both parents available when applying for a passport, Harry Spratlin, communications coordinator for the Greater S.C. District of the Post Office, noted.

Also holding Passport Fairs Saturday will be the Cross County Branch, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 7075 Cross County Road in North Charleston; the Mount Pleasant Post Office, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., 1050 Johnnie Dodds Blvd.; and the St. Stephen Post Office, 9 a.m. to noon, 3981 Byrnes Drive.
