Cops will help wait tables at a North Charleston restaurant Friday to raise money for Special Olympics.
Members of the Fraternal Order of Police Tri-County Lodge No. 3 will be at Fatz Café at Tanger Outlets from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
They will help waiters serve drinks and chat about law-enforcement. Marked envelopes will be on the tables for donations. Any money donated will go the Special Olympics, according to police chaplain Harold Phillips.
The Special Olympics provides sports training and athletic competition for persons 8 years of age and older with intellectual disabilities.
Reach Dave Munday at 937-5553.
